When is the first time you saw something that you couldn't explain but made you a full on believer? I've always been somewhat of a skeptic. I have always known that there is something more out there but I have never been able to prove it for myself. Until now. Two days ago my team and I along with another local team had a private investigation at a location I cannot disclose. It was a very large building and had many floors. I loved the fact that it was abandoned. After doing a bit of exploring, my team and I set up at the intersection of two hallways. Most of us sat in a circle to conduct a spirit box session, while another team member stood looking down the hallway. We didn't get a lot of activity on the spirit box, then suddenly our team member in the hallway asked for another set of eyes because he was seeing things moving down the hall that he could not explain. I stood up and went over where he was and instantly saw two legs in what looked to be dress pants and shoes walking into a room. That was the moment I knew that this was the real deal and that spirits exist. The rest of the team joined us and we set up a video camera and a laser grid. We could see things moving through the lasers so we tried to debunk first by making sure that the blinds in the windows of the rooms connected to the hallway were closed and that the part of the building we were in wasn't close to a road where the headlights of cars could come through the window. Everything checked out and we continued to see things moving through the lasers. I called out to see if anyone was there and suddenly the laser grid turned off. None of the team was close to the grid. I asked if someone was there then if they would turn the lasers back on. A couple seconds later, the grid turned on. I said thank you and it shut off again. I asked if someone was there to turn it on and off three times. Quickly after that it turned off and on twice and then all activity ceased. The light didn't come back on and nothing in the hallway. My team was still in awe that something like this happened. We wanted to go further in proving this so we only gave the other team limited knowledge about what happened. The investigated the area later that night and had the same results with a full bodied apparition. This was the most profound evidence to me that the afterlife exists. I originally thought this haunting might be residual until it started to respond to me by using the laser grid to communicate. I want to know your thoughts after reading my experience. What do you think? Do you believe in spirits?

Genesis
I had my first paranormal experience when I was ten. I remember having a dream one night that my dads best friend had passed away. The next morning I remembered the dream vividly, however, I just brushed it off as being a dream. A couple days later my father got a phone call that he had passed away.
Around the same age I lived in a duplex that I shared with my Mother, Father, and two older sisters. I had a room to myself and once or twice a week I would hear something banging on the attic door located in my closet next to the bed. The door was sealed shut so I know that nothing could get in from the inside, and as far as I knew there wasn't a way to get in from the outside either.
It got so loud one night that I thought it was going to wake up my family and I would get in trouble. I snuck over to my sisters bedroom that was right next to mine to find her fast asleep. I woke her up and told her what was going on in my room. She told me she didn't hear anything and I begged her to come look in my room, she reluctantly agreed. The pounding noises had stopped. She said I was just dreaming and she went back to bed. I started to think that maybe she was right, however not ten minutes later I heard a faint whisper that said "Whitney" the banging happened again.. then the whisper "Whitney, let me out". I didn't know what to do.. I layed there in bed, far too terrified to move or cry out. I didn't know what else to do so I prayed in my mind. I prayed that whatever was trying to talk to me to go away in the name of Jesus. I said it in my head over and over and over again. I am not sure how long it took before it stopped but eventually it did and then I fell asleep. I never had that happen in that room again. I have however have to this day on occasion heard a whisper in the room say "Whitney" and wake me up when everyone else is asleep.
I would say that my passion for the paranormal started after these occurrences. I will soon update and inform on the psychic dreams and the empathic tenancies that I am prone to as well as paranormal investigations I have done in future posts. Thanks for reading :)
